Our Story

The House Edit started with a frustration and a vision. After years in the Asheville area —building a business, raising a family, and maintaining a home — our founder kept running into the same thing; cleaning services that treated a house like a check list. Dust here - vaccum there, check the box, and move on. The result was technically clean and completely uninspired.

She knew there was a better way. A way to treat a home like a curated space—the way you’d style a bookshelf, arrange a tablescape, or edit a room until it feels right. Not just removing dirt, but restoring a sense of order and intention. The kind of clean you don’t just see, you feel.

That’s The House Edit. We’re not a maid service. We’re editors — and your home is our manuscript.

The Woman Behind The Edit

Angel is a Western North Carolina entrepreneur, salon owner, and mother of four. She built The House Edit on the same principles that guide everything that she pours her heart into. Show up — do the work — and make it beautiful. When she’s not editing homes or running her salon, she’s spending time with her family and traveling as much as she can.
